The Region of Kustendil is situated in the South-Western part of Bulgaria. To the North it borders the beautiful Zemen defile and to the south- the legendary Rila Mountain. To the west its limits coincide with the state borders between Bulgaria and Macedonia, and Bulgaria and Serbia and to the east-the Konyevo Mountain. The climate is trans-continental with Mediterranean influence along the river Struma. The region has numerous hot mineral water springs, the hottest of which is the 103C geyser in the town of Sapareva Banya.
Most properties offered for sale in the region are houses in the near-by villages. The property prices depend on the condition and the size of the property and the yard and the proximity to Kustendil town.
