Troyan (also spelled Troian) is a town in the northern foothils of central Stara Planina (Balkan) mountain. It is located 160km from Sofia.
Troyan is famous for its plum brandy production. The town is famous for its traditional pottery, probably developed partly as a result of the local clay soil.
Most properties offered for sale in the area are houses in the near-y villages. The property prices depend on the condition of the house and the size of the house and the yard as well as the proximity to Troyan.
