Furniture

There are two large wardrobes offering plenty of storage space. There is a king size double bed that is fitted with a pocket sprung orthorpedic mattress to ensure a comfortable nights sleep. The bedding comprises of a duck down duvet and 4 pillows.

There are is a writing desk and two bedside cabinets which offer drawers for storage. There are two bedside lamps offering convenient lighting for bedtime reading.

The bathroom contains a power shower with a 900mm cubicle. The water heater which supplies the shower provides plenty of hot water enabling two people to shower consecutively.

Location

Stoykite village is located 6 km away from the well known Pamporovo ski resort. This village has a population of 390 residents and there are approximately 20 small family run hotels. In the village there are 2 convenience stores selling a wide variety of food and toiletries. The village also has a bank with a cash point outside. Both the shops and bank are within 3 minutes walk of the apartment.

This village is situated in the most southern part of the Rodopi mountains and benefits from an average of 270 days of sunshine each year. The complex is surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, pine forests and far reaching views.

The village is 15km away from the town of Smolyan, 250km away from the capital of Sofia and 90km away from Plovdiv, the second largest city in Bulgaria. Plovdiv has its own airport which has regular charter flights in the winter season.

Travel to the area

Bulgaria Air fly direct to Sofia from Gatwick or Manchester all year. From Sofia a taxi fare to Pamporovo should cost about £60 (Negotiate fare before departure!)and will take 3 1/2 hours. In the skiing season there are weekly flights into Plovdiv and from here it will take 2 hours to get to Stoykite.

Hiring a car during your stay will cost from £25 per day and will allow you to enjoy wider sightseeing during your stay.

Stoykite

The Village is picturesque and has some 390 residents. There are approximately 20 family run hotels. The village has a bank with a cash point and 3 convenience stores. Opposite the Apartment is a restaurant/bar which has an extensive menu. The prices of food and drinks are 1/2 of the prices of Pamporovo as many locals use the bar and cannot afford the tourist prices.
There is a traditional restaurant at the bottom of the village of Stoykite which has an extensive menu and sheep skin rugs on the seating. Prices are again very competitive and 1/3 of the price of Pamporovo. A salad starter, main meal and alcoholic drink will cost £3 per person. There is a local hotel with swimming pool, bowling alley, spa centre and much more.

Pamporovo and the the village of Stoikite set to benefit first from 500 million euro Perelik investment, now is an excellent time to invest in property in the area.

Stoikite complex is a premium development within a few hundred yards from a new ski lift joining to the rest of the Pamporovo ski network with over 110 km of ski runs. The ski lift (lift 6) is the 2nd best ski lift in Europe this is a covered 6 man ski lift. What else does Stoikite have to offer? there is a new cross border road into Greece. The Greek boarder is only one hour away. It is very easy to access the Greek coast, making Stoikite an excellent all year round holiday destination. This makes ski apartments for sale in Stoikite very attractive. Yes, all year round, this means for property owners, there is rental income in the ski season and in the summer.

Airports? the Pamporovo resort is close to Plovdiv airport offering many flights to regional UK airports. Also, there are good links to Sofia and flights every day to the UK and now the first low cost airline, easyjet are now operating flights to Sofia and Ryan air are scheduled to fly regular into Plovdiv.

Stoikite house offers an excellent investment opportunity, rarely does one find such an attractive investment option.

Pamporovo

Pamporovo is made up of a collection of various hotels and restaurants which support ski holiday makers in the winter months. There are a few small convenience stores and a Bus stop. There is no traditional village so all the bulgarian workers travel in daily to run the facilities. The resort is located 260km from the capital Sofia and 85km south of Plovdiv. It is close to the Greek border and is the southern most ski resort of Europe.

As the resort caters for tourists alone prices are inflated and much dearer than elsewhere in Bulgaria. English is widely spoken here so communicating with locals is easy.

Smolyan

Smolyan is 15km away from Stoykite and is the largest town in the region. The town is the administrative centre for th southern Rodopi Mountains. It's sights include a Historical Museum, Art Gallery and Bulgaria's largest Planetarium. The town is narrow but stretches for 10km. It is set in a valley which is surrounded with Pine covered peaks making it a particularly attractive place.

Shiroka Luka

This is a picturesque village full of character with many 19th century houses and 3 humped back bridges. Its attractions include an ethnographical museum and church of the assumption.

Trigrad

Most people visit this village to admire the Devils Throat Cave which is situated 2.3km from the village. Tours are available and last 20 minutes although you can stay longer under the supervision of the guide.

Yagodina

This is another popular village due to people visiting the Yagodina Cave. Tours of the cave take 45minutes and you can see an array of stalagmites and stalactites. The cave is the largest in the Rodopi region.

Stoykite is located high up in the Rodopi mountains but close to the Greek border. This means that you are able to get brilliant views but have pleasant weather. There are some excellent walking maps available and many of the paths can easily be followed as their are markings on trees and rocks along the route.

The restaurants and local shops in villages along the way are all reasonably priced so there is always the opportunity of taking an enjoyable lunch break.

Pamporovo is the pearl of the pearl of the Bulgarian mountain resorts and nestles in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains. 260km from the capital Sofia and 85km south of Plovdiv. It is close to the Greek border and is the southern most ski resort of Europe.

Pamporovo

The altitude of the Pamporovo resort is 1650 m with its highest point at Snejanka at 1926m. The resort offers one of the best ski-schools in Europe - Ski lessons, ski-lift passes, and equipment hire are far more affordable than in European resorts.

Rhodope Mountain Region

The winter season offers more than 120 sunny days with an average snow depth of 140-150 cm. The average daytime temperature is -3C and the temperature never falls below – 7 C.

If you cannot ski, this is not a problem; the ski-school in Pamporovo is one of the best in Europe. Highly qualified instructors, speaking at least two foreign languages, train beginners from scratch, in groups or individually. Both Skiing and Snowboading are catered for.

The Pamporovo resort is recommended by the experts as a good place both for both beginners and experienced skiers'. The mountain with its rounded forms is friendly, even to children. The ski tracks of Pamporovo have all degrees of difficulty. Most of the tracks start from the very peak. There are three cross-country runs in Pamporovo. In the 9 ski-wardrobes near the tracks, you can find over 2000 ski outfits and equipment, snow-boards and sleighs. Skiers' who bring their own equipment can also use these wardrobes for safe keeping.

The mountain rescue service works 24 hours a day, taking care of the security of the skiers'. The ski-kindergarden is open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
