The eastern end of the village's adjacent coastal line hosts the small port of local fishermen. The village of Sveti Vlas (St. Vlas) is believed to have been founded by the Thracian in the 2nd century BC. The distance to the airport of Burgas is 25 minutes drive and there is regular buses going to Sunny Beach, Nessebar, Burgas and Elenite Resort.
